William Yan graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney after completing a Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia. He uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription to help patients regain confidence, function and mobility. Will strives to work with patients to build an individualized plan to meet their goals. He is a firm believer in continuing education by taking post-graduate courses in manual therapy and functional training. Will is certified to practice Anatomical Acupuncture and Intra Muscular Stimulation (IMS) and uses these tools as an adjunct to his manual therapy skills. He has a clinical interest in treating conditions of the head and neck such as headache, temporal mandibular dysfunction, vestibular disorders and concussion. Recently Will has completed The Series with Diane Lee and uses the Integrated Systems Model to assess and treat at a whole-body level.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, weightlifting and spending time with his wife and two young children.
