Alex Carrod has been active in the health and fitness industry since 2008. He began with a certification in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy, then graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Exercise and Health in Cambridge, UK. Alex went on to earn his Masters in Physiotherapy from Leeds, UK and practiced both in the public system and a private sports & orthopaedic clinic in England . Alex has also had the opportunity to work with sports teams, namely rugby, as a strength and conditioning coach and therapist.
Since moving to Vancouver, he has been working towards his Canadian certifications and currently holds an interim Physiotherapy license.
Alex is passionate about the importance of early Physiotherapy intervention and the value of injury prevention. He treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. His primary goal is to help his patients be pain free and back to living healthy and active lives. Alex uses a variety of evidence based treatment modalities, primarily hands on and exercises prescription, individualized to each client.
When he’s not practicing, Alex enjoys playing soccer, hiking, biking, kayaking and running.
